How to build and tend your own fairy garden workshop
Cultures all over the world honor the importance of the “little people,” fairies and elementals in creating a magical life. Fairies are known as the spirits of the garden that when honored properly, help the garden grow. Beginning a relationship with the fae can bring miracles both to your personal life and plants. In this workshop, we will learn how to begin cultivating a magical sense for elementals and their relationship to the land & garden. During this workshop you will: *build your own mini fairy garden to take home with you *learn about how to create & tend a larger fairy garden at home *learn fairy & elemental folklore from around the world *discuss how to connect with fairies, devas and nature spirits *learn how to create a flourishing AND magical garden! You will leave this workshop with a greater understanding of how tending relationship with the fae creates a healthier & happier garden. You will also begin a relationship with the fae, who are strong protectors of human AND plant life. This workshop is appropriate for children over the age of 6 years old.

BIO
Jillian Wilding is an urban farmer & edible landscape designer in San Diego, CA. Jillian is dedicated to tending and helping people create, cultivate and manage edible home gardens and orchards throughout the city. Jillian hosts a once monthly grass roots Community Farmer’s Market at her home in Pacific Beach, where she shares her organic produce with her local community. Her relationship with the garden began at UC Davis where she played division 1 water polo and studied Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems, emphasizing in school garden education. Jillian has worked many years with local organizations teaching kids in the garden and participating in multiple permaculture design courses. Her dedication to the study of plant medicine, community care and garden magic and grow steadily each year.
