Chris Baron – Spark

Warwick’s presents Chris Baron as he discusses and signs his new book, Spark, in conversation with Megan E. Freeman. Chris Baron is a professor of English at San Diego City College and the director of the Writing Center. He is the award-winning author of The Gray, All of Me, an NCTE Notable Book, and The Magical Imperfect, a Sydney Taylor Book Award Notable Book and a SLJ Best Book of 2021, and is co-author with Rajani LaRocca of The Secret of the Dragon Gems. He’s also the author of the (adult) poetry collection, Lantern Tree, which was published as part of a poetry anthology, Under the Broom Tree, winner of the San Diego Book Award. He grew up in New York City, but he completed his MFA in poetry in 1998 at SDSU. He lives in San Diego with his family. Find out more about him at chris-baron.com.
