When someone is diagnosed with cancer, it impacts everyone – mothers, daughters, fathers, sons, grandparents, neighbors, and friends. But we can do something about it. As a community, we can attack, and ultimately defeat, our biggest rival: cancer. The American Cancer Society’s Climb to Conquer Cancer event takes the fight to eradicate cancer to Mt. Soledad Memorial Park.
This year, around 200 participants will hit the pavement from Kate O. Sessions Park to Mt. Soledad Memorial park in a challenge of will and endurance to help the American Cancer Society save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer. As a part of our community, we would be honored to have your support during our walk.
Your support allows the American Cancer Society fight cancer on all fronts – like investing in groundbreaking research, providing free rides to chemo and places to stay when treatment is far from home, our live 24/7 helpline, and so much more.
