David A. Jacinto – Where Eagles Fly Free

Warwick’s presents David A. Jacinto as he discusses and signs his new book, Where Eagles Fly Free (Courageous #2). David A. Jacinto was born into a family living on the wrong side of the tracks and has been a storyteller ever since. He was the first in his extended family to attend college, and as a student athlete at one of the most prestigious universities in the country, he received his degree in civil engineering. He was commandeered by the State of California on special assignment as chief engineer to help rescue California’s three major utilities on the verge of bankruptcy during the highly publicized, 300-billion-dollar energy crisis in 2001. Along with his gift for storytelling, that profound sense of gratitude inspired his works of historical fiction, The Courageous Series, launched in 2023 with Out of the Darkness, winner of numerous awards including New York City’s Book Award for best historical fiction of 2024 and first prize in the prestigious Firebird competition. Among his greatest achievements are his marriage to Anne Gray, also an immigrant, and his close relationships with his four children and thirteen grandkids.
