Extended School Partnership Showcase: Hoover High School

MCASD is excited to host an Extended School Partnership showcase with Hoover High School this Spring!

Taking cues from MCASD’s binational Mandate, students learned how artists start conversations and represent Southern California and Tijuana as a region through the prism of contemporary art. With this knowledge, these young artists created their own works that speak to their experiences in the region through their use of materials, representations of culture, and landscapes.

Hoover High’s AP English Language and Advanced Art students will showcase their art in Axline Court from May 2 – 18.

Showcase dates are open to the public during our gallery hours: Thursday – Saturday from 11AM – 7PM and Sunday from 11AM – 5PM.
