Italian for Beginners – 4 Week Introductory Course

Welcome to Italian for Beginners! You are about to embark on a journey into the
language and culture of Italy. This introductory course develops Italian language
acquisition through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It covers basic Italian pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. It also explores the history, geography, and customs of the Italian-speaking world. The class is designed for students with no prior knowledge of Italian. Emphasis on useful key topics such as greetings, ordering food, shopping, plus cultural tips about Italy. Visual media, and authentic material are used to entertain and engage students in activities and make their experience of learning memorable. Instructor: Paola Baracco
