You will learn the three basic knots of macrame, and three other weaving techniques that you can take away with you and create an infinite number of your own masterpieces.. My intention is that this workshop inspires you to continue exploring your creative side and to find joy through that process, no matter how it unfolds.
No previous experience is necessary, this class is great for beginners and those who already know the basics.
WHAT TO BRING: I will provide all the materials you need to create your very own wall hanging size approx 16 x 22 inches.

Leila has felt the pull towards creativity her whole life. No matter what was going on, school, full time work or being a mom of two, she would always make time for arts and crafts.
Blessed with attention to detail, as soon as she could hold a pen at age three she was drawing intricate and elaborate artworks. At age 8 she was selling jewelry that she had made out of FIMO at the local art fair! Throughout her life she has always had some kind of hobby, teaching herself various forms of craft including clay modeling, jewelry making, sewing, painting, drawing, ceramics, macrame, weaving, sign painting and wood work. She feels happiest when she is fully immersed in some kind of creative endeavor. (Or multiple creative endeavors!) Perhaps her biggest masterpiece to date is the creation of Trilogy Sanctuary, but this ever-evolving space now has a life of its own and a huge community to keep it running! For her, working with her hands is her form of meditation. When life gets crazy and full it is her way to reset, to wind down, and to feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Every spare minute is an opportunity to get creative. Leila loves to share her passion for art, If she can inspire others to tap into that creative flow and also find a sense of fulfillment then that is a great gift she can give.
