Mah Jong for Beginners – 6 Week Course, IN-PERSON
Mah Jong is an ancient Chinese game that was brought to the United States in the 1920’s. The game consists of luck, skill, and strategy. It is a game that can help with memory and improve cognitive development. The game is an excellent social activity that provides an opportunity to meet new friends who also enjoy the game. It is played in many community and recreation centers thru out San Diego. The 2021 National Mah Jongg League card must be purchased per person.
Learn the basics of the game and fundamental rules. There will be lots of practice exercises and time for game play. I create hand-outs for each lesson and use a variety of teaching techniques for different learning styles.
