Meet the Artist: Johnny “Bear” Contreras

Artist Johnny “Bear” Contreras, Kumeyaay from the San Pasqual Reservation, will be in Wisteria Cottage gallery to meet the public. An accomplished sculptor and artist, Contreras created two sculptures especially for the current exhibit Voices from the Rez. On Wisteria’s front lawn, you can view The Return of the Kumeyaay Creators and inside the gallery, I’m No Tonto. Drop-in program between 6pm and 8pm.
