Paint Your Pet’s Portrait
February 15 @ 5:00 pm - 8:30 pm$87
Paint a portrait of your dog, cat, or any animal that you love!
Please join Kimball Willson — an equine and pet portrait artist, founder of Corporate to Canvas, and current artist in residence at Bfree Studio — for this fun and creative art class. This event will be held right in the gallery so you’ll be surrounded by inspiring artwork as you create a masterpiece of your furry friend.
Each attendee will paint their beloved animal in acrylic paint with step-by-step instruction and individualized guidance. All materials are provided and a set of flat brushes and 12 acrylic paints are YOURS TO KEEP for touch ups or new projects!
Please note this class begins at 5pm, but you may leave whenever you feel your painting is complete (8:30pm at the latest).
NO LESS THAN 72 HOURS BEFORE CLASS: Please email 1-4 photos of your pet to [email protected]
Tips for taking pet photos: (1) The best lighting is usually outside or by a window in your house or car. (2) Get down to your pet’s level and take the photo straight-on, not from above. (3) Sometimes it’s easier with 2 people – a photographer and a handler. (4) Take high resolution photos (standard on most phone cameras) or scan images at 300 dpi. (5) Please only use photos that you took or have permission to use.
Only 12 spots available. One pet per canvas / attendee, please. No painting experience is necessary. Under 18yo must attend with an adult.
