Join Studio Sessions X MCASD featuring Skate Jazz.
Future is Color® Studio Sessions is a live music experience with a rotating selection of curated sounds every week. For this special presentation of Studio Sessions, Future is Color® Studio Sessions is partnering with the MCASD for a monthly pop up at the MCASD La Jolla location where guests can enjoy live music in the Art Park.
Refreshments will be available for purchase, provided by The Kitchen.
Skate Jazz was founded in January 2023, when drummer Ruben Hernandez met pianist Jonny Stalling-Cardenas at a jazz jam. United by their passion for French jazz fusion and a shared vision for pushing boundaries, they quickly realized they were onto something extraordinary. The band’s singer is Kiki Lapomme, and the bassist holding it down is Ruben’s long-time friend Elliot Ramsey. The saxophonist Riva solidified the band’s lineup, creating a powerhouse quintet that thrives on creative synergy and electrifying performances.
Future Is Color® Studio Sessions, an extension of the Future Is Color brand mission to create an accessible space for dialogue and empathy, is a weekly live music experience that uses music to promote connection between disparate communities.
