Women’s Circle With Gabrielle Blachley
July 9 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
An event every month that begins at 7:00 pm on day Second of the month, repeating indefinitely
We are being called upon to RISE UP and share our voices, our stories, our gifts… AND primarily to help one another heal. My vision is to reawaken Circle + Rising, a Women’s Circle which was birthed 6 years ago in Guatemala, where women gathered together in their strengths and weaknesses, in ALL they are, a space they can come to raw, unafraid and open to their own individual process of learning, healing, transforming, revealing, intention setting, building, dreaming …. and leave each session feeling seen, heard, understood, more informed, connected, inspired, and empowered to apply what they learned to their own life.
Some of you have joined me on this journey before, and I would love for you to join us again. Some of you are new to this women’s healing collective and I would like to invite you to all come together to hold and create a healing space at Trilogy Sanctuary.
Why a “Women’s Circle” Gabrielle?!? A lil’ back story…
Over the past several years of living in San Diego life has challenged me to reach beyond my own inner resources of healing and to seek guidance and healing tools from therapists and healers. At the beginning of COVID, I was diagnosed with PTSD and Anxiety Disorder, which I had been suffering from undiagnosed for many years due to life circumstances, choices, and relationship/life stress. This has changed my life, giving me the tools to continue this process on my own, empowering me to accept the things I cannot change, in turn giving me the courage and capacity to change the things I can.
One of the things I admired most about my Mother, was her ability to bring together women from all walks of life, sometimes the most unlikely of combinations, making the best of friendships. I watched and witnessed for years the power of her women tribe. For those of you who aren’t familiar, my Mother is one of my most beloved life mentors. She was a professional ballerina and owned ballet schools for 40 years. Regularly she would have her students (who became lifelong friends, some she mentored, some mentored her) over to our home for late-night dinner parties, tea-time talks, and so on. All of these women from the time I was a baby, weaved their colors, strengths, and stories into our lives. It wasn’t till I was much older that I realized the role my mother played in all of these women’s lives and the way in which she brought people together, by offering and creating a sacred space for them to come, to show up when they needed, just as they were. There was never any judgment, just a sacred space for them to discover and realize what it is they were seeking.
It is my divine honor to hold space with this beautiful being…
Meet my Circle’s Co-Lead:
A lil bit about Ali…
Raised by a 15-year-old mother and an alcoholic father Ali started to experience anxiety, PTSD, and dissociation at a very young age from various life circumstances and an unstable household. It wasn’t until her college years when panic attacks started to interfere with her social life and studies that Ali started going to therapy and in that process found yoga.
Yoga started the healing journey that Ali has been on for 11 years now which has been a roller coaster ride through relationships/ trauma/ and death. Yoga has been a practice that allowed Ali to start sitting with the uncomfortableness of anxiety and panic in her body and mind and gave her tools to find the confidence to interact with life again in ways that once felt scary and unsafe. Ali has found the most healing through gathering with other women, working with plant medicines/planets/elements, and somatic movements therapies mixed with journaling.
Growing up in a very religious household Ali feels that women in her family were not encouraged to have a voice or to be fully embodied in their feminine power. She knows that her purpose therein lies to empower women. This empowerment comes from connecting with our own bodies and listening to its stories. Creating safety within so that space can be created for our own inner truth to reveal itself and be witnessed in a divine group of sisters. In all of history women always gathered to heal. Connecting with the earth, taking care of one another, feeding each other, and dancing.
The Collective Theme of Circle + Rising:
All of these monthly gatherings and circles will be themed around healing. There has been an awakening of facing our past, cutting cords, healing our inner child, our inherited family trauma, patterns of unhealthy and no longer serving habitual behaviors, etc. Our intention is to hold space in a way that offers support, tools, and guidance. These circles will be guided and held by Trilogy’s staff and various therapists, doctors, healers, or teachers who have learned to hold safe space and offer constructive healing tools, helping people on their healing journey’s to be consistent with their commitment, to find clarity reconnecting to their intuitive knowing, and to begin to or continue to build the bridge from what is no longer working in their lives to what is and what will set them free and keep them moving forward on their path to a happier, healthier life more fulfilled life.
