First of all, you don’t need to be a cyclist to enjoy this locally-owned coffee house, but if you are peddle pusher you will be welcomed with open arms, tea leaves and very cool bike short. AT Coffee House has handcrafted coffees, loose-leaf teas and local pastries served in a cycling-friendly ambiance. Both the scenic views and people watching are top-notch. Pastries are made locally and are absolutely delectable. Whether you need to get a little work done and want to catch up on your social network, AT is wifi friendly as are the baristas and owner, Andy Taylor. According to their website, “A life-long sports fan, Andy found a passion for coffee that dramatically grew as a keen cyclist. He envisaged a coffee house that combined those two passions and left a successful career in high-tech to open AT Coffee House in La Jolla on January 1st, 2019.” So if you’re looking to support new, locally owned small businesses — peddle, walk or — if you have to — drive on over to AT Coffee.
