Board of Directors
The La Jolla Village Merchants Association is guided by a 15-person Board of Directors that sets policies and strategies under guidelines from the City of San Diego’s Economic Development Department. These dedicated volunteers are the driving force behind our organization’s success. Download the most recent BOD Roster HERE.

Board members participate in professional development workshops and complete compliance documents, including orientation, anti-harassment training, fair & ethical meetings training, and conflict of interest forms.
If you are a business owner or manager in La Jolla Village and want to get involved in your community’s future, consider self-nominating for a seat on our Board of Directors. To learn more about and apply for the La Jolla Village Merchants Association Board of Directors, complete this Self Nomination Form. Mid-year vacancies are filled as needed throughout the year. Applications can be submitted at any time.
Committees
Our committees are organized around the National Main Street’s “Four Points” Program. Three committees meet monthly to recommend to the Board of Directors on events, activities, promotions, and issues affecting La Jolla Village merchants. Anyone can volunteer with the La Jolla Village Merchants Association! Whether you are interested in joining a committee or prefer to lend a hand at a signature La Jolla event (such as our monthly First Friday Art Walk, Concours d’ Elegance, Holiday Festival, La Jolla Art and Wine Fest to name a few) we welcome your participation.
