Homey, happy, Harry’s!  This is my kind of coffee shop.  It has history (check out the wonderful pictures from Harry’s native New York and his adopted San Diego) throughout the diner.  The menu has everything you’d expect and then some (they are famous for the BW Benny which is Harry’s take on a perfect bacon waffle marriage).  But, my favorite part about Harry’s is that Coffee is served in a cup, of course, but comes with a side of carafe.  (I always feel like a pest when bugging breakfast servers for “warm-ups” so this alleviates my guilt.

But don’t take my word for the greatness of Harry’s.  They have plenty of press accolades which affirm my sentiments.  These include San Diego Magazine, Food Network -Top 5 Restaurants, Insider Food– Best Diner in every State #California, Travel & Leisure; Food & Wine Magazine; BuzzFeed, USA Today and more.
