La Jolla’s First Friday Art Walk is a monthly celebration held on the first Friday of each month from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This free event invites art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike to explore over 20 galleries and pop-up exhibits throughout the charming streets of La Jolla.

Stroll gallery to gallery, enjoy thoughtful conversations and collaborations that celebrate mind, body, and community. Many locations will feature light bites, sips, and special pop-ups from La Jolla’s health-focused businesses, offering a refreshing way to kick off 2026.
Rain won’t dampen the fun—Art Walk is the perfect indoor-friendly evening, with plenty of cozy galleries and welcoming spaces to explore. Bundle up, bring a friend, and join us for an uplifting night that proves a little rain can’t wash away La Jolla’s creative spirit.
Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, live entertainment, and the opportunity to meet and engage with artists. The self-guided event allows visitors to stroll at their own pace and immerse themselves in the rich artistic offerings. Pre-registration is encouraged, as it provides access to a complimentary all-day parking pass and an advance copy of the Art Walk map, enhancing the overall experience.
