The La Jolla Christmas Parade and Holiday Festival is just around the corner, happening this Sunday, December 8, 2024. The Holiday Festival begins at 11:30 AM and the Christmas Parade launches at 1:30 PM! It’s a wonderful time to enjoy festive celebrations, but please remember that some streets will be closed, and towing will be enforced to ensure a smooth and safe event. Be sure to plan so you can fully enjoy the festivities without any hassle
Towing Notice:
Vehicles will be towed promptly at 8:30 AM on the following streets:
– Both sides of Ivanhoe between Ivanhoe East and Torrey Pines Rd.
– Both sides of Girard between Torrey Pines and Kline.
– Both sides of Kline between Ivanhoe and Fay.
– Both sides of Herschel between Torrey Pines and Silverado. (This is particularly important to Crosby Center tenants, as this area will be used for staging marching units. This is the street directly in front of the building, and the alley behind the building will also be used for staging VIPs.)
– Both sides of Torrey Pines between Herschel and Virginia Way.
– Both sides of Wall Street between Girard Avenue and the Alley.
Vehicles will be towed promptly at 11:30 AM on the following streets:
– Both sides of Girard between Kline and Prospect.
– Both sides of Prospect between Girard and La Jolla Blvd.
– Both sides of Draper between Silverado and Kline.
Event Day Reminders:
– Do not park anywhere inside the parade/event perimeter.
– Be sure to review the No Parking Zones Map on the official parade website: www.ljparade.com.
– Parking will only be available outside the parade perimeter, so plan extra time to reach the Crosby Center.
Please note that the San Diego Police Department / Special Events Department oversees street closures, towing, and ticketing. Unfortunately, we do not have control over reversing any tickets or towed vehicles.
