Voting is now open for the 2026 Best of La Jolla Reader’s Choice Awards, giving the community a chance to celebrate the businesses, people, and places that make La Jolla so special.

Who Can Participate?
Businesses located in the 92037 and 92122 ZIP codes are eligible to participate. Eligibility is verified through business licenses, websites, and social media presence.
Important Voting Details
Voting takes place online only through the official ballot:

- Voting closes June 30, 2026
- Each person may vote once per category
- Complete voter information is required for votes to count
- Categories cannot be changed once voting begins
- Fraudulent voting or ballot stuffing is prohibited and monitored through automated security systems
The competition is designed to be fair, fun, and to highlight the amazing small businesses that make La Jolla unique.
Winners Announced This Fall
Winners will be announced in September and October 2026 by the La Jolla Village News and Times of San Diego.
Recipients will receive:
- A winner’s certificate
- Community recognition
- Major local visibility
- And of course… yearlong bragging rights
