Our 2026 Election Timeline and Self-Nomination Form are available online and will also be mailed to all current Association members, along with instructions on how to self-nominate.
The time commitment is minimal, but the opportunity to make an impact is BIG. Board members have a voice in the future of La Jolla’s Business District—from events, marketing and merchant programs to partnerships, policies and priorities that support a vibrant Village.
About the Board
The La Jolla Village Merchants Association is guided by a 15-member Board of Directors made up of dedicated volunteers who help set the policies, priorities and strategies of the organization.
Board members attend our monthly meeting on the second Wednesday of each month at 4:00 PM at the La Jolla/Riford Library, 7555 Draper Avenue, and serve on at least one additional committee or community initiative. The total commitment is typically just 2–4 hours per month.
Our Executive Board includes the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, and all monthly Board meetings are open to the public.
