La Jolla is celebrating the spirit of Hakuna Matata all summer long in partnership with the return of the Broadway San Diego’s production of Disney’s #1 musical, The Lion King, from Augst 24 to September 11 at the San Diego Civic Theatre/
Join Friends of Coast Walk Trail, La Jolla Village Merchants Association, and others for a day of Hakuna Matata as help clean up and maintain our precious coastline. Refreshments will be provided by La Valencia Hotel and Lobster West. Check-in begins at 9:00 AM near the Cave Store. In keeping with The Lion King’s theme of environmental stewardship and friendship, all are invited to pitch in and stay for an after-party featuring lobster rolls provided by Lobster West.
