We wanted to say a little more about our Limelight business that was featured this past week for those who still haven’t gotten the chance to visit Raymundo’s Taco Shop! A wonderful addition to the La Jolla dining community Raymundo’s Taco Shop offers authentic homemade Mexican at a great price to their customers. We had the pleasure of talking to Mrs. Leticia Garcia about how Raymundo’s got started and their plans for the future.

Raymundo’s is run by a husband-and-wife duo that is not new to the food industry. Raymundo (yes THAT Raymundo) has worked as a cook for over 25 years and wanted to take the next step in his career by opening this restaurant to showcase his and Leticia’s skills in the kitchen and set an example for their kids of where hard work and dedication can accomplish. And they have not disappointed!! Their food is made from scratch and tastes like a homecooked meal. Their menu is extremely diverse, with many simple Mexican dishes like tacos and burritos, to dishes like enchiladas and a chorizo plates. And don’t forget to grab a Jarritos to go with the meal!

Raymundo’s doesn’t have any special but that’s because they keep fair prices all year round! Raymundo’s is proud to offer delicious Mexican food that is easy and fast to grab, while also being affordable so you can always come back for more.

Where does Raymundo’s see themselves going in the future? They plan on expanding! They hope to increase their hours and hire more employees so they can continue to grow with the La Jolla community.
