Calling all La Jolla Village businesses! It’s time to kick off the holidays — and we want YOU to be part of one of La Jolla’s favorite traditions. The La Jolla Village Holiday Open House returns Sunday, November 22, from 11 AM–4 PM, bringing holiday cheer, special activities and hundreds of shoppers into the Village.
Founded by Adelaide’s more than 40 years ago, the Holiday Open House has grown into a true community tradition. Rather than one centralized festival, businesses throughout the Village join together to create a festive day of shopping, dining, music, treats, activities and holiday surprises.
All La Jolla Village Businesses are invited to take part! When you Sign up now you’re business will be listed on the event poster which will be distributed the first week in November.
Your Business + Your Holiday Twist
Participating businesses are encouraged to create a little holiday magic of their own. Host something simple, festive and fun that gives visitors another reason to walk through your door.
Serve hot cocoa or holiday treats. Bring in live music. Offer a special promotion or raffle. Host an artist demonstration, children’s craft or story time. Create a festive photo spot. Hold a customer appreciation party. Or come up with something completely unique to your business.
Tell us what you’re planning and we’ll highlight you in our extensive marketing campaign, including print advertising, press releases, social media, blogs, websites and newsletters and more. You’ll receive posters, graphics, and promotional tools to help spread the word.
The More Businesses That Participate, the Bigger the Campaign and the Better the Experience
The Holiday Open House works because we do it together. When shops, galleries, restaurants, salons, fitness studios and professional businesses throughout the Village participate, visitors have more reasons to explore, discover new businesses and spend the day in La Jolla.
Participation helps cover our shared promotional costs and puts your business directly into the celebration. Space in our promotional materials is limited, so don’t wait until the last minute to join us.
Early Bird Participation: $150: Sign up by October 30 and pay by November 6 to receive the Early Bird rate.
After November 6: $200 per business.
