When Sushi on the Rock first opened in Carlsbad a few year’s ago I fell in love with both the atmosphere and the food and was sad when they closed the North County location.  But, Sushi on the Rock has found a fantastic home in La Jolla at La Plaza with incredible views of The Cove.  If you love a bargain, look no further than Sushi on the Rock’s Happy Hour (3 PM to 6 PM every day including weekends) where you’ll find rolls and sushi starting at around three bucks.  Check out their daily specials here.  Taco Tuesday’s poke fish and shrimp tacos are a budget-pleasing three dollars each and Thursday’s cocktails and sake specials will kick off an early weekend.  With the billion-dollar view and the bargain happy hour, Sushi on the Rock has you covered at both ends of the spectrum.
