In conjunction with one of the nation’s leaders in gift card campaigns, La Jolla Village Merchants Association is exploring the idea of a branded gift card that could be used at any participating restaurant, shop, salon, spa, or business. It will be marketed as the perfect gift for anyone planning a visit, day trip, or vacation to the San Diego region or specifically La Jolla. A complete marketing plan will be implemented and evolve as the program grows. LJVMA will be holding a Zoom information session to discuss details and answer any questions you may have. The information session will be recorded for those unable to attend.

Here’s how it works:
Initially, we will limit the number of participating merchants as we test the demand, concept, and logistics. If you are interested in learning more we will be hosting several online information meetings to discuss details, timeline, and answer questions. For those involved in the initial launch, there will be no set-up fees or costs.
Consumers purchase the La Jolla e-Gift card online at face value (not discounted). They can then use the e-Gift Card at any of the participating businesses in La Jolla. The E-Gift Card is easily redeemed through a credit card terminal or tablet.
The La Jolla e-Gift card program is a pay-for-performance model. There are no monthly fees to participate, only a 15% processing fee. This fee will be used to administer and promote sales.
