I have to admit — I wasn’t sure if I was going to include our neighborhood supermarket in my 52 eating establishments in 52 weeks food adventure.  But, so often, when I’m out and about and see people eating a great looking sandwich and inquire about its origin, the response is,” Vons.”  With its hot and cold deli, bakery and infinity soda machine; Vons certainly qualifies as a takeaway eating establishment. I’m partial to Von’s soup bar and was thrilled when I visited to be able to choose my favorite — Jambalaya!
