Malia is a certified sound practitioner, gifted musician, and talented singer. She grew up around music and dance and was immersed in the rhythm of sound and movement. Her mother is a Kumu, a teacher of the Hawaiian culture of music and dance. Eastern philosophies have similar traditions as the Hawaiian culture in the sense of mind, body, and spirit, which is why she feels deeply called to Sound Healing. From a young age, she knew she would pursue a path that pertained to music and movement. It’s no surprise that her passion for music blossomed into a career in Sound Therapy. As a young girl, her inclination towards music was strictly intuitive, now she understands the technical side and physics of sound as well as its healing influence. Amazed by this dimension of music, she spends her time studying how specific frequencies paired with physical movement affect our mind and body on a cellular level. Through music, she supports you in invoking the healer within and encourages you to feel safe in your unique expression.
Discovering the magic and healing yoga offers at a young age, Sheldan has been a dedicated yogini for nearly two decades. Her passion having evolved into a career path, she became certified in various styles of yoga and also facilitates breathwork. As a certified Reiki practitioner and Deeksha initiate, Sheldan loves to thread energy healing into her offerings. Known for her nurturing and heart-centered approach, Sheldan aims to encourage practitioners, new and experienced, to awaken the healer within, and connect with their highest self. Her love for yoga and dance is closely related to her love for music and has led to her exploration of sound therapy. Through the use of various instruments, she aims to support practitioners along their healing journey and open their minds to abundant, radical self-love.
