Gordon Johnson: A Reading from His Works

Bring your lawn chair and join us at Wisteria Cottage as we listen to writer Gordon Johnson, Cahuilla/Cupeño from the Pala Reservation, as he reads from his works. His words like songs, Johnson has written three books and is a former newspaperman who worked as a feature writer and columnist. His books are Rez Dogs Eat Beans, Fast Cars and Frybread and Bird Songs Don’t Lie. Wisteria Gallery will also be open for viewing current exhibit Voices from the Rez, where Johnson is presented as one of ten artists.
