The impacts of COVID-19 have been felt in almost all corners of the regional economy. From retail to entertainment and manufacturing, industries across the spectrum are doing their best to weather the current storm of uncertainty. As many begin thinking and planning for a future where current restrictions begin their process of safely loosening, questions remain about what that process will look like and how different industries will have to adapt.
On Thursday, May 7, the Downtown San Diego Partnership will host a discussion covering the latest data available about the impact of COVID-19 to the regional economy, how plans are being formulated to reopen the region and how different industries can prepare for the next phase of recovery.
With presentations from: Mayor Kevin Faulconer, City of San Diego Craig Benedetto, San Diego Business Resiliency and Reopening Alliance Ray Major, Chief Economist, San Diego Association of Governments
