How Lucky are You? It’s Seal Pupping Season in La Jolla! There is nothing more adorable than taking a stroll along the La Jolla during Pacific Harbor Seal pupping season. Not many people are able get an up close and personal look at some of our youngest pinniped residents in their natural habitat – newborn seal pups and their moms in full cuddle mode. While visitors are not allowed on the beach during popping season, walking the seawalls allows incredible views of adorable seal pups and their mothers.
Moms and young pups play, swim, surf, and rest together on the protected beach through May 15 at which time humans are again allowed access. No one should miss this rare opportunity to witness nature in its most loving and memorable form.
