Turning Pages – Opening Art Reception at Athenaeum
Join artist Andrew Alcasid for the unveiling of his new exhibition, Turning Pages. In homage to the Athenaeum’s beginnings as the La Jolla Reading Room, Andrew Alcasid presents Turning Pages, a collection of figure drawings depicting his partner, Aubrey Mejia, reading at their home.

Quarterly Book Sale at Athenaeum
A new exhibition and a great book sale! Get a gift for a friend or yourself at the Athenaeum’s quarterly book sale on our patio! As usual, we will have a large selection of gently used books, CDs, vinyl LPs, and sheet music. Hundreds of recordings of classical, jazz, and popular music are just $1 per disc, making this a music lover’s paradise. Find a great gift for yourself or a friend!
